It can happen that on your site adjustments like new rules (Advanced Prettyfier 2.0) or new images / folders (aka galleries) are not shown directly. This is usually due to the fact that in your Joomla! installation the caching function is active. As long as the cache is still valid, the old parameters are still used. The settings for caching can be found under: System --> Global Configuration in the tab System:

In our example above, the adjustments are activated after 15 minutes.

Note: We clearly recommend the use of the cache, this can speed up your site enormously.
