Tab URL

Exposer can fetch the additional URL fields from your articles. You can set up more than one field as Link or Badge but only the latest option will be used. The module handels just not set, _parent or _blank configuration for links. If you activate URL A and URL C as Link and both fields contains a Link in the article parameters only the Link of C will be used.

The main idea behind this function is that you can create articles that link to different targets. You can create article A, which is an internal article. A click on the link (in Exposer) will take the user to the corresponding article. There are no URL A/B/C fields configured for article A in the article settings. Article B, however, is in the same category and contains an intro text and image. As URL A, however, the article is linked to the according page on another website. There is no visible difference between the articles in the Exposer (except that a badge can be displayed for article B). However, if a visitor clicks on article B, a new window is loaded with the page specified in the URL A field. Got it? 😉

The parameters listed below are available in triplicate for URL A / URL B / URL C.

If necessary, this How To article offers a little help for this function.
