I would like to have a section that shows the whole schedule of a season. At the moment a way to do this seems via the games module, but because there are 380 games in a season it loads them all at once which gives some issues.
Is there an option for pagination in this module perhaps? Or perhaps via the "Next games" menu item?
For me i have for example the Calanda Broncos (https://calandabroncos.ch/) where the game plan is on the bottom of the homepage - there are in fact three leagues our teams play (Seniors / U19 / U16) for each of those tabs there will be a module instance - in the module itself i've set a filter for the league (leagues filter)...
I've never tough about that there could be that much games while creating this module but yeah i will add an option to only show the next x items aka pagination with the next update - thats a good point.

I've tried something - i have this Version 1.2 Beta Build and i have quickly added a frontend pagination - You will find the update in your downloads area it is listed as FootballManager Games Module for Joomla! Version 1.2 Beta.
You can have a look into the Module Settings >> Layout Tab - there you will find the pagination setup. It is just a "frontend" pagination which means it still loads all games - can you please tell me if the performance is good and if hte feature is usable like this?
kind regards

I have released Version 1.2 Beta 2 - it is available in your Downloadcenter.
The Pagination now uses AJAX which means it loads only the first chunk of games on page load, when going to 2...3... and so on the module loads the other games async. You need to download & install this beta manually from within your downloads area here on nx-designs.
Could you please test Beta 2 and tell me if your problems are solved?
If not i probably require your exports (teams / locations / games) to have a look into it - maybe there is some data inconsistency idk. As far as i can see the module performance should be much better now when loading a lot of games.
An improvement I would suggest is in the numbering of the pages. It shows the number of every page. Perhaps it would be better to have 1-10 pages and maybe an option skip to the first or last page. Or an extra addition would be previous/next.
It would also be good to have anchors in the module. So the page will always jump directly to the top module so you see the beginning of the new page.
Yes i'm still improving the beta, first it was necessary for me to know if it would work like this "in the real world" now i can go further and add the fancy things. Please stand by the next version will offer this options.
kind regards

Version 1.2.1 of FootballManager Games Module has been released.
The module supports now Pagination with a limited amount of indexes to display - because of some usability restrictions you cannot limit the count of indexes below 3.
Please Note: You have to download the actual version manually from your Cockpit because the update server was not configured in the version 1.1.x
No, this is the counter for "Touchdowns" - it is enabled by default but i added a backend control in version 1.2.2 (a few moments ago) to hide it if needed:
Make sure to update first to version 1.2.2 and then you will find it in ModuleSettings --> Layout --> Section "Eventdata" --> Show Touchdowns.
Thanks for pointing that out!
kind regards

Thanks for the update.
The pagination works great now.

Thanks again for this update!
