Hello Marco

I'm not sure I can do this with Exposer.This is not about selecting a tag but displaying similar articles with the same tag(s).If it is possible, what can be achieved from the following points

For Joomla 5, I am looking for an alternative to the "Identical
Tags" module in order to display on the side of the page, articles
(and not contact sheets like the Joomla module) which have at
least 1 tag in common, or even 25 in common. 50%. Limit to 5
article titles maximum

If there are advanced features, please let me know
1/ better match finesse
2/ thumbnail automatically generated from the image in the article
content
3/ thumbnail automatically generated from the image of the field
personalized ACF download
4/ different layouts of a thumbnail next to the item title
5/ taking into account dpcalendar events/rentals
6/ display of personalized fields on the thumbnail

Sorry for my late response, i'm currently developing 3 new components for Joomla 5 :-D

1. Currently its all or nothing (Category / Tags / Custom Field Value relative to current article)

2. Since Version 1.6 Exposer offers the Option to use the first image in the article content / introtext

3. Customfields are supported as image ressource

4. You can select list as type OR Grid (Cards) and in the Grid Cards you can have IMAGE CARDS or default cards where you can also define that an image should be left / right / top / bottom

5. No dpCalendar support

6. Customfields are supported but not as image overlay

Hi Marco

ok I found the functionalities that I implemented on an old site.
This does not work like the "related articles" module by automatically generating articles linked by at least one identical tag. too bad

On the other hand, I would really need on a site which has hundreds of articles to have a module on the home page which displays the first 12 articles
... with a button to load the next 12!
Is it possible to include this in a future version? I heard that a refactoring would be planned? In the meantime it works under Joomla 5 :-)

I imagine that you are very busy with the next future extensions but is it possible to answer me on the question to see if ok on a provisional schedule because I find that this is the main functionality that is missing?

Sorry, i knew i missed something...

I have plans to combine my two modules (Exposer & WidgetsBox) into one Extension and sort out this bad situation having two extensions having a very similar feature-set.

Additionally I can get rid of old fashioned solutions / coding practices for Joomla 3.x which results in better performance for endusers.

And yes, this feature will be integrated then. All Subscribers of WidgetsBox OR Exposer will get access to this new extension.

The main focus is to create an extension that will be easy to use but powerfull for advanced users. It looks like I have to go the "Component & Module"-Way because a module (like today) becomes too complex for the enduser...

But as I said, first I have to migrate some of my customers to Joomla 5 and build some solutions for them, next will be the release of the Football Manager Component and its Modules and then i can start with this project.

yes the component + module idea probably seems like a good idea to meGood luck cleaning up all the code for the future Joomla 5+
