Have you given any thought to offering a Games Module that would display in a left-to-right scroll instead of vertically? I think this would be a great addition to the component.
When do you anticipate the component and modules being Joomla 4 compatible?
Thanks
Trey

Hi Trey
I'm currently on the "final straight" of my thesis and can go ahead and start to develope my extensions again in about two weeks. Your idea sounds nice -can you give me an example? Or did we "simply" talk of a horizontal slider ?
kind regards
Marco

Hi Trey
Sorry i missed your response here...
It's a bit complicated - I cannot tell you for sure at this point because there are things to check about the migration process from V1 to V2 - before i had the plan the V2 will not be compatible with J3 at all. But i have to re-evaluate this point in relation to the migration process for the customers. So the current plan would be that FootballManager 2.0 will run on J3 too (i have to test this first) to migrate all data from v1 to v2 - tha means you could use the new modules also on a J3 installation and will be able to upgrade to J4 whenever you are ready.
So in short: yes if everything works as expected you should be able to use FootballManager 2 and its Modules also on J3.
There will be new modules for FootballManager Version 2 because the codebase has changed a lot based on new features and code practices.
And yes, all customers with a subscription will get access to this new versions.
The current development state of the component is around 70% for the backend things.
If you wanna you can checkout the GIT repository here https://github.com/marcorensch/com_footballmanager_2
kind regards
