Added plugin, but update site won't load new components or modules. I'm also having issues with uploading, even from a server location, saying there's no XML file. Can you suggest a fix or a solution?

Hi doggedid
I'm sorry to hear that something is not working with YoutubeBox Pro - Could you please give me more information what is not working?
It sounds like you have problems installing the module?
I've quickly tested to download & install the current release from within the download section without issues on a Joomla 4 Test site. So the zip file placed on my hoster is ok.
Please try to download the ZIP locally and upload it again to your Joomla! site like it is ddescribed here: https://manuals.nx-designs.com/docs/general/joomla/install-extension
It might be possible that the zip file got corrupted on your side while downloading / uploading please try again to redo the steps as described in the link above.

To check if the ZIP is ok after downloading you could simply unzip it on your local machine and see if there are any contents...
The following files should be included in the file (see attached screenshot) - if needed i could also send it to you by email but if the download isn't working well upload might also be an issue too...

Edit: Please note that I have adjusted your post title to make it more problem oriented.

kind regards

I don't think it has anything to do with your file. All elements are there. I think it has to do with the Joomla 4. I am also getting an error that it exceeds 2MB when trying to do a traditional installation on a cPanel server, but can't seem to get the installation to recognize the php.ini file. However, when trying to install from a URL, I get the following error:

0
Call to undefined function Joomla\CMS\Http\Transport\curl_exec()
Feels like I might have to get in touch with my server administrator and see if there's something missing, unless you can sense something I might be able to try from within the cPanel.

Nevermind...I think I've solved the problem by unpacking the .zip in the /tmp file. Seems to finally have loaded. Sorry to have wasted your time.

Ah yeah - 2MB is not enough at least to install components - The Direct Install via URL is not working because for security reason customers has only access to downloads via the page itself (Direct access got blocked otherwise everyone could install my extensions if they know the url...)
No worries - I'm glad to help.
kind regards!
