Thanks for your Feedback, the mentioned issue could happen if the module is used in Dynamic Article Mode on a page that is not a Joomla! article - it was just a little logic error inside the code.

Perhaps there is a way to exclude links to all modules like 'search', 'log-in' and modules like newsletter-signup.On same page: Why are any categories showing? On this page 3 categories are shown. The only category I should see is the category of the current item if it has one.

If the item being viewed is NOT an article, the exposure module should be displayed or not depending on settings from "Featured items". If "HIDE" then the module should not be shown.

About the visibilit of articles. In the current Beta the Module will show Across Categories if not set, Please be aware that in your case you want to not load anything but it's realistic that another one wants to show articles depending on other filter settings if the module got loaded Outside of the article context.

The "Featured Items" is a completly different thing and relies on the Joomla Article's Feature to mark certain articles as "featured".

Please be aware - its still a beta Version and i will add such a functionality (hide if dynamic context is not given) based on your feedback.

I have another website where everything works well except for this error on some articles.

Question: What happens when the active link is a module like 'search' or 'login' (which don't have categories)? What would Exposure (dynamic) show?

Your current Version would load all articles based on the other filters setted up beside the category filter. And the new release (updated a few seconds ago) will do this too BUT you got an option now to "Force" Dynamic Mode: "Select yes and the module will only be rendered if it got displayed on an article page (com_content). Select no if you want to use the module on other pages too, but then no Dynamic Filtering takes place. Other filters besides the category filter still takes place. Default is Yes."

I've tried also to fix this Bug on line 1208 but i'm not quite sure if its solved or not because i could'nt reproduce it on my side.
